I push your buttons and you get turned on.
You begin to move so smoothly and effortlessly
in what seems to be an endless stream onto my pages.
Sometimes you fall to the side
and I get nervous when I can’t find you
especially my favorite one.
If you were ever to leave with another
my search for you would be endless
for no two are exactly alike
and we should replenish one another not discard.
One Race
Do you see me as a human being or as a beast?
If you saw me as an equal,
would the world’s violence cease?
(would there be world peace?)
Aids will wipe out 80 million Africans by 2025.
Why is it that we already know that
and not enough is being done
to save people’s lives?
More concerned about what goes on overseas
or making people pay millions to treat a disease
(shot for a cold, no cure for a sneeze)
What is the root cause
and can love solve?
Poems from the book A Window Into the Soul of a Woman, Volume I (second edition)
Love In The Afternoon
meet me on the stairs
with just stares
no clothes
not even underwear
just stares
make our way to those satin sheets
no greets
can’t even speak
don’t need any food
don’t even need to be in a good mood
just need you
to be completely naked with me
completely naked
see right through you
telepathy
leads to ecstasy
see you at noon
Cycle Of Life
There’s nothing you are thinking
That hasn’t been thought
Nothing you are doing
That hasn’t been done
It’s all been said
It’s all been done
Sometimes you’ll laugh
Sometimes you’ll cry
Life is what it is
And one day you’ll die
But life doesn’t end
It has just begun
Exceeds all imagination
Answers to the questions
Sometimes it’ll rain
Sometimes it’ll snow
You come in
You go out
What is it really all about?
No real answers
It’s all questions
You want time to believe
You want time to achieve
Some days all I do is grieve
But I know
There’s a purpose in the struggle
Don’t grieve too long
Be strong
When a baby comes in the world
A baby goes out
The flowers bloom
The flowers fade
Fashion In
Fashion out
Sometimes I want to scream
Let me out
Don’t want to fight no more
Don’t want to cry no more
Don’t want to struggle no more
Lovers come
Lovers go
Think you’ll never love again
Love even harder maybe even smarter
Find out love is really your friend
And once again the cycle begins
